Kendriya Vidyalaya BSF Amarkot was established in 2010 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan New Delhi, which is an autonomous body managed by Ministry of the Government of India, Department of Education, Govt. of India. It is a model school having classes from I to X. The Vidyalaya has about 375 students with a qualified staff.
The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body run by Ministry of Government, the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, New Delhi. Primarily, it caters to the educational needs of the children of transferable Defence Personnel, Central Govt. Employees and Personnel of All India Services. Besides, other floating population can be granted admission subject to the availability of the seats. The Vidyalaya is running in BSF building. This Vidyalaya will have its own building soon. The Vidyalaya is situated at Amritsar to Khemkaran Road in Punjab.
